Prime

Seachem Prime® is a concentrated water conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It removes chlorine and chloramine from tap water and temporarily detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making them less harmful to fish while still allowing beneficial bacteria to process them. Prime also helps neutralize heavy metals commonly found in tap water, will not affect pH, and is safe for reef tanks because it does not cause protein skimmers to over-foam. It is commonly used during water changes, tank cycling, and emergency ammonia spikes.
